Our current cultivar of Kava is known as Borogoru, and it comes from Pentecost Island. It consists of a rough mixture of 60% basal roots and 40% lateral roots. Kavalactones are the main active chemicals found in kava root powder and are responsible for its relaxing and calming effects. The use of a strainer bag is essential with powder; unless you already have a solution, it is recommended that you buy a strainer from our shop. Competitively priced.
